Any tips in getting my bathroom ready for a shower install?
Ensure there is adequate backing behind the walls were there will be shower hardware installed. Try to ensure that the tile is installed as level and as plum as possible. We can accommodate variations but your shower will look it’s best with a quality tile install. Take some time to explore different shower installations online. The better idea you have for what you want, the better we can help you get the best experience.
What finishes are available?
Depending on the hardware required for your install there can be over 20 finishes available for your project.
How long will my shower order take.
On average about 10 days from our date of measurement for Frameless Showers and about two weeks for Framed Showers. This of course depends on the amount of jobs in the queue and our suppliers lead times which vary throughout the year.
What credentials should a shower supplier have?
Minimum $1,00,000 liability insurance. Drilling holes in bathrooms can be expensive. Water damage even more so. At Island Glass & Mirror we carry $5,000,000 in Commercial Liability Insurance, so in case of any unexpected accident your home is protected.
